In Memoriam: Dr. Thomas Brady III, Professor of Operations Management

Dear Colleagues,
It is with deep sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Dr. Thomas Brady III, Professor of Operations Management, on October 21, 2025. Dr. Brady faithfully served Purdue University Northwest and its legacy institutions for 33 years, leaving a lasting legacy as a scholar, mentor, and academic leader.
Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Brady held significant leadership roles, including serving as Chair of Engineering Technology and later as Dean of the College of Engineering at Purdue University North Central, where he guided our programs through periods of growth, transformation, and excellence. In 2016, he joined the College of Business at Purdue University Northwest as a Professor of Operations Management, where he continued to share his expertise, passion for teaching, and dedication to student success until his passing.
Visitation and Funeral Service
The visitation will be held on Monday, October 27, from 11 a.m. to noon (CST) at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S. 2nd Street, Chesterton, IN 46304. The funeral service will follow at noon (CST) at the same location.
