Adobe Creative Cloud Update Scheduled for Dec. 22
To comply with upcoming changes from Adobe, on Dec. 22 Purdue IT will be making changes to the configuration of university-licensed Adobe accounts across the Purdue system.

Multifactor Authentication Update
We are postponing the systemwide move to Microsoft MFA, which was scheduled for January 2026. You can continue using Duo without any changes for now.

Google Workspace at PNW will be retired on Feb. 23, 2026. Services such as email, office tools, etc. will transition to Microsoft 365.

PNW Phone Services Will Migrate to Microsoft Teams Calling in Summer 2026
Purdue IT has begun migrating phone services to Microsoft Teams Calling across the Purdue system. Purdue Northwest is forecast to begin migration by June 2026. No action is required at this time.

Prepare Your Spring 2026 Courses for the Google Retirement
On Oct. 1, you received an email explaining that the Google Workspace environment at Purdue Northwest will be retired in February 2026 and services will transition to Microsoft 365.

Reminder: Windows 10 End-Of-Life (October)
Microsoft has announced the "End Of Life" for Windows 10, with the official end date set for October 2025. In preparation for this transition, we must upgrade all existing Windows 10 systems to Windows 11.

On July 25, Purdue IT will implement the rollout of Sensitive and Restricted labels within Microsoft 365.
