Purdue University Northwest (PNW) campus community members and the public can ride local public transportation systems to and from PNW’s Hammond and Westville campuses.

The Gary Public Transportation Corporation (GPTC) provides a bus route that circulates through commercial districts and neighborhoods in Hammond, Highland and Munster in Lake County, including a stop at PNW’s Hammond campus. The GPTC bus will make daily stops on 173rd Street at the Hammond campus’ main south entrance.

The Transit Triangle Commuter Route provides transportation between the PNW Westville campus and the cities of La Porte and Michigan City in La Porte County. Buses will stop outside the James B. Dworkin Student Services and Activities Complex, 1401 S. U.S. 421, Westville, IN.
