Clement S. Stacy Undergraduate Research Conference
An annual opportunity for undergraduate students to share their significant research, the Clement S. Stacy Undergraduate Research Conference brings students and mentors together from universities and colleges throughout the Midwest for lively presentations and discussion.
The College of Humanities, Education, and Social Sciences will host the 28th annual Clement S. Stacy Undergraduate Research Conference in Fall 2021 at the Purdue University Northwest Campus.
The conference will include a new Graduate School and Career Fair. We will host workshops, panel discussions, and activities to introduce students to graduate study and the different careers available in the humanities and social sciences.
Call for Papers
Posters and papers written by undergraduate students in following disciplines will be considered:
- American History
- American Studies
- Creative Writing
- Communication Studies
- Comparative Studies
- Cultural Studies
- Ethnic Studies
- Foreign Language Studies
- Human Development Family Studies
- Literature & Literary Criticism
- Modern Languages
- Political Science
- Social Work

Abstract Submission & Guidlines
Abstracts will be reviewed and selected by faculty with appropriate expertise. Deadline for 2021 to be announced soon.
The abstract should describe the problem or issue you are working on, your approach (for example, close reading of a text, comparative study, analysis of data, etc.), and the significance or impact of the work.
Abstracts should be no more than 250 words.
Abstracts must be a Microsoft Word™ document (.doc or .docx ending).
