Tuition for Online Nursing Programs
Online RN-to-BSN Program
Earn your BSN for under $10,700*
- Up to 86 transfer credits
- Tuition reduced to $311.91 per credit with new student and partner institution scholarships
Online MSN Program
Earn an MSN for under $16,400**
- Tuition is just $512.16 per credit
- A $1,000 scholarship for Purdue Northwest RN-to-BSN alumni
* Published rates effective beginning June 17, 2024. Program tuition is based on a student transferring 86 credits toward the degree. Total tuition for the 34 nursing credits required at PNW is $13,882.88 ($408.32 per credit hour). New students who are employed by one of PNW’s hospital partners or are current students at one of PNW’s community college partners may receive scholarships to reduce tuition for the 34 nursing credits to $10,604.88 ($312 per credit hour). Scholarship eligibility is subject to change for students who have previously dropped out of the program. Program cost will increase for students who do not bring in maximum credit; students will be assessed $408.32 per credit hour. The University reserves the right to increase prices and/or discontinue the scholarship at any time. Tuition and fees are subject to change by the Board of Trustees. ** Students will incur differential fees, in addition to tuition, based on the number of credits taken per term. Differential fees are $221.25 when registered for less than 8 hours and $281.50 for 8 hours or more and are assessed once each traditional semester. Online RN-to-BSN Scholarships
For Partner Health Care Facilities and Community Colleges
We offer a scholarship to undergraduate students employed by partner health care facilities and graduates of partner community colleges.
The maximum scholarship for partner health care facilities and community colleges is $1,000 per student.
The scholarship applies only to nursing courses and is not retroactive.
This scholarship can be stacked on top of our standard new student scholarship.

Financial Aid for Nursing School
Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at fafsa.ed.gov. The federal school code for Purdue Northwest is 001827.

Review Your Financial Aid Status
Please check for outstanding financial aid requirements by following these steps:
- Log in to myPNW using your career account
- On the Dashboard, locate the widget titled “Financial Aid”
- Click on “Awards and Information”
- Select the current aid year from the drop-down list (located on the top left)
- Review and complete any unsatisfied requirements listed on the Home page
Note: We cannot continue reviewing your financial aid until all required documents have been submitted and satisfied.
Please check for important messages about the status of your financial aid by following these steps:
- Follow steps 1–4 above
- Click on the “Notifications” menu option from the top menu bar
- Review any notifications posted to your account
Once you are provided with a financial aid offer, you can view and/or accept it by following these steps:
- Log in to myPNW using your career account
- On the myPNW Dashboard, locate the widget titled “Financial Aid”
- Click on “Go to Awards and Information”
- Select the current award year from the drop-down list (located on the top right)
- Click on the “Offer” menu option from the top menu bar
This page will display your financial aid offer for the current award year.
If offered loans that you choose to accept or decline, then complete the following steps:
- Scroll down to the “Loans” section of your aid offer
- Under the “Take Action” column, you must select “Accept,” “Decline” or “Modify” (select whichever applies to you)
- If you select “Accept” or “Modify” from the above step, then accept the terms and conditions
