Martin Luther King Jr. Community Event

Join us for the 27th annual region-wide MLK Community Event! PNW will invite the Northwest Indiana community to a virtual program celebrating diversity and inclusion through the life and legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr.

Program highlights included:An illustration of Martin Luther King Jr. in front of an American flag

  • A keynote presentation by Nicky Jackson, Associate Professor of Criminal Justice at PNW
  • Opening remarks from PNW Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Kenneth C. Holford
  • Musical interlude by Jenne Carey
  • Emcee Dion Campbell

In lieu of donations of needed items collected at the in-person events held on the PNW campuses in previous years, the planning committee kindly suggests making a donation to a charity or organization of your choice.
