What’s New, What’s Changing

Not much is changing in 2022.  See below for the major changes:

Dental
Delta Dental will be the carrier for dental insurance in 2022.  Premiums will be lower, however there are no changes to the plan design.

Vision
Vision coverage remains premium free in 2022.  There are a couple of plan enhancements next year.

Purdue’s Contribution to HSA
For those enrolled in one of Purdue’s three Consumer Driven Health Plans, the University will make a contribution to your HSA.  (HRA for those ineligible for HSA.)  The amount of Purdue’s contribution will change in 2022 and the contribution will be divided and spread across all pay periods.  For employees enrolled in Employee Only coverage on one of Purdue’s health plans, Purdue’s base contribution will be $200.  For employees enrolled in Employee Plus 1 or More coverage on one of Purdue’s health plans, Purdue’s base contribution will be $400.

Healthy Boiler Incentive Structure
The amount of incentive dollars you can earn is increasing in 2022 and there are several additional methods for earning incentive monies.
