PNW Record-Breaking Attendance at AIST Midwest Chapter Dinner Meeting

CIVS and PNW students, faculty and staff had a wonderful evening at the AIST Midwest Chapter Dinner. PNW had a record high of occupying 4 tables at the event and were recognized by the event organizers with a round of applause. The Keynote talk by Al Behr, AIST President and Executive Vice President at Nucor, was very engaging and insightful and had significant impact on the audience of over 300 people.

The Midwest Member Chapter is the largest AIST member chapter with more than 1,600 members, and includes North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Northern Indiana and a small portion of Northwestern Illinois.

The AIST dinner reflected the strength of our professional community, bringing together leaders and emerging engineers to reconnect, build new relationships, and openly exchange ideas to tackle challenges in the steel industry.
