Proposed Minor:

WGSS 28200– Introduction to LGBT Studies Class 3, Credit 3 This course will offer students an introduction to the Interdisciplinary study of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer lives, histories, identities and movements in the U.S. and globally. Through course reading, film screenings, fiction, autobiographical texts and class discussion, we will explore the cultural and historical contexts and meanings of sexual identities and transgender identities, the formation of sexual communities, and their intersections with race, ethnicity, class, gender and nation.

Prereq: WGSS 28000 or consent of instructor.
