Whereas: the Faculty of Purdue University Northwest wish to protect their colleagues coming up for promotion and tenure this year from any last-minute changes that might disadvantage them, and

Whereas: the Provost has proposed a compromise on the issue of composition of the University Committee that is acceptable to the Senate chair and the Faculty Affairs Committee, be it therefore

Resolved: that for the year 2017-18 the University Committee will include the deans of the degree-granting colleges without vote.
