Task: Course Change or New Course Proposal

    • Program Name: Political Science

Section II: This section is for changes in courses only

Subject:

Revise POL 39000 Topics in Political Science. This change would remove the current restrictions and prerequisites for POL 39000, opening the course to a wider range of students.

Justification:

As a topics course in political science, POL 39000 is targeted at a general student audience, not specifically upper-level political science majors. The course does not require previous coursework in political science. The current restrictions and prerequisites are thus not accurate. This change would more accurately reflect the nature and target audience of the course.
