FSD 18-19: Resolution on Summer Employment Practices

Whereas PNW does not yet have a university-wide policy on the process of selecting and assigning faculty for summer teaching assignments, and

Whereas there are large discrepancies in this process across departments, schools and colleges, and

Whereas PNW faculty should have equitable and predictable opportunities for summer employment,

Be it resolved that faculty and administrators in each unit, college, or school work collaboratively to develop processes for selecting and assigning faculty for summer employment and to hold a faculty vote on which process to accept by the end of Fall, 2019 semester, to be implemented beginning Summer, 2020.
