Draft resolution for the delivery of the B. S. in Economics Degree

For discussion: May 3, 2019

 

Whereas: The Constitution of the Faculty of Purdue University Northwest, which has been formally ratified by the Board of Trustees, establishes the Purdue University Northwest Senate as “the governing body of the Faculty” (Section II), and

Whereas: The Constitution assigns to the Faculty responsibility for, and authority over, curricular matters (Section III. B. 2-4), and

Whereas: Curriculum document CHESS 16-04 NEW PROG ECON was approved by the full faculty senate on May 5, 2017, and

Whereas:The Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics was approved by faculty senate prior to the implementation of the Academic Program Creation/Change, (APCC), guidelines 

Be it resolved that Faculty Senate demands full delivery and funding for the program beginning in academic year 2019 – 2020.
