FSD 20-03 Resolution on Emergency Revisions to P&T Process

Whereas, the COVID19 pandemic during the 2020-2021 academic year make it unsafe for Promotion and Tenure Committees to conduct in- person deliberations and in-person voting,

IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that

That the Faculty engage in and participate in the PNW P&T Process using an electronic meeting platform during the 2020-21 academic year.;

That the committee Chairs ensure that only committee members participate in the conversation and the final vote.

That the committee members will cast their votes over a secure electronic platform in an anonymous manner.

Each member will have an active camera during the meeting; meetings shall not be recorded

That the current policy of the Administration be flexible with regard to above stated Timeline so the process may move forward without causing undue hardship on committee Chairs.
