Resolution to no longer use Interfolio for annual faculty reviews

For Discussion: October 13, 2023

Whereas: Faculty have overwhelmingly expressed their dissatisfaction with all of the time and trouble resulting from using Interfolio for annual faculty reviews.

Whereas: A large savings in faculty and staff time could be achieved by not using Interfolio for the annual faculty reviews.

Whereas: The faculty senate passed a resolution last academic year stating their displeasure with Interfolio and requesting to not require it for annual faculty reviews in the future.

Whereas: Before the use of Interfolio, annual faculty reviews were executed with no problem and with much less time consumption on the part of faculty.

Be it resolved: That, in order to use faculty and staff time more productively, Interfolio use be discontinued for the annual review process while still performing needed annual reviews using a simpler more time efficient method.
