A retired Purdue University Northwest professor who passed away earlier this year has left more than $700,000 to the university. The generous estate gift left by Maria O. Longas, PNW professor emerita of Chemistry, will go towards student scholarships.

Purdue University Northwest will host its second Environmental Science summer camp from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. CDT June 28 to July 2. Open to rising high school students, the camp will again take students into the field with visits to Gabis Arboretum at Purdue Northwest

Purdue University Northwest’s Neeti Parashar, professor of Physics, and Jim Dolen, assistant professor of Physics, have been awarded a multiyear grant of approximately $526,000 by the National Science Foundation (NSF).
