Purdue University Northwest to Host Purdue + D2L Exchange on November 10
Purdue University Northwest (PNW) will host the Purdue + D2L Exchange on November 10, 2026, bringing together faculty, instructors, Brightspace support staff from across the Purdue system, and experts from D2L for a day of learning, collaboration, and idea sharing focused on teaching and learning with Brightspace.
The Purdue + D2L Exchange provides an opportunity for participants to explore innovative teaching practices, discover new Brightspace tools and features, and connect with colleagues from across Purdue’s campuses. The event will feature a variety of sessions focused on student engagement, assessment, accessibility, course design, and emerging Brightspace capabilities.
A highlight of the program is Bright Ideas: Teaching and Learning Innovations, a faculty showcase featuring short presentations from instructors who have successfully implemented Brightspace tools, features, and strategies in their courses. These presentations are designed to spark new ideas and provide practical takeaways that participants can apply in their own teaching.
In addition to faculty-led sessions, attendees will have opportunities to learn from D2L experts, explore upcoming platform enhancements, and exchange ideas with colleagues who support and use Brightspace across the Purdue system.
Attendance is free for Purdue faculty, staff, and system administrators and includes access to all sessions, event materials, light breakfast , and lunch.
