CIVS Welcomes Faculty from PFW Center of Excellence in System Engineering

On June 11, the CIVS welcomed David Cochran, Professor of Systems Engineering and Director of Systems Engineering and Director of the Master of Science in Engineering degree program in Systems Engineering at and Joseph Smith, Associate Director of the Center of Excellence in Systems Engineering at Purdue Fort Wayne.

During the visit, CIVS Director Chenn Zhou provided an overview of CIVS and SMSVC, highlighting the center’s work in applied research, advanced simulation, visualization, and industry collaboration. Guests also participated in hands-on demonstrations in the CIVS visualization lab. The visit also included productive discussions for future collaboration.
