The DSSA Program has helped me gain knowledge and skills when using hand held tools, 3D Modeling, Sheet Metal Fabrication, and many other skilled areas. These skills will help me attain internships and give me a greater career advantage

Students are engaged in national collegiate competitions. The Hydraulic Bike Team won the Best Workmanship Award at the NFPA's National Hydraulic Vehicle Challenge competition in Colorado.
Industry supported lab environments are equipped with articulated robotic arms, mobile robot-bases and machine vision systems. From autonomous vehicles to sensor-driven manufacturing systems, robotic innovations are at the forefront of technology advances today.
Collegiate competitions present the same type of situation that students will encounter after joining the workforce. PNW Motorsports Team won First Place in the Sled Pull competition among other accomplishments at the SAE Baja event held in Tennessee.
By partnering with regional industry, the technology laboratories are maintained at state-of-the-art levels. The college has invested more than $300,000 in facility enhancements to its laboratories.
