Lunch and Lead with Tim King

Join the Leadership Institute and Society of Innovators as we welcome Tim King to January’s Lunch and Lead event.
After retiring as Executive Director of the Louisville Orchestra, Tim moved to Northwest Indiana and became involved with the La Porte County Symphony Orchestra as a volunteer. He was eventually asked to take on the Executive Director position and served in that role from 2018 – 2023. During this time the LCSO doubled their annual budget, tripled the amount of subscriptions and completed a successful $1.8 million fundraising drive during the 2022-23 season (50th Anniversary).
King earned a Bachelor of Music Education from Eastern Kentucky University and a Master of Music from Unity of Louisville. Prior to his 13 years with the Louisville Orchestra, he taught elementary music, served as Sr. Vice President of the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts, and was the Director of Performing Arts for the Jefferson County Public School System.
