    PNW student represents USA at World University Games

    PNW first-year student Finley Hawk recently competed at the 2023 Fédération Internationale du Sport Universitaire, or International University Sports Federation (FISU), Winter World University Games in Lake Placid, New York. Hawk, a figure skater, represented Team USA at the international competition.

    Purdue University Northwest Welcomes Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence

    Purdue University Northwest (PNW) has been selected to host a Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence for the 2022 summer and fall semesters. Mashrur Shahid Hossain, professor of English at Jahangirnagar University (JU) in Savar, Dhaka, Bangladesh, will teach classes, give scholarly and informational presentations and advise faculty on developing the curriculum in his areas of expertise.

    Students of Mary Beth O’Connor, associate professor of Communication at Purdue University Northwest (PNW), have won more than 100 prestigious awards for the work they’ve done in the classroom. Many go on to successful careers within the television and film industry, often winning industry awards.
