Scholarship should first be awarded to employees and/or dependent children of the dealership who have documented financial need, as determined by the Office of Financial Aid, and are registered for 6 credit hours or more. Status is to be identified by filing the on line application. Verification of employment will be handled by the Office of Financial Aid. If no employees and/or dependent children apply for the Christenson Chevrolet Scholarship, the Office of Financial Aid is to award the scholarship(s) to students who are registered for 6 semester hours or more and have financial need. ll other things being equal, non-employee/dependent awardees should be from Lake, Porter, LaPorte, Jasper or Newton County. The minimum award for this scholarship should be $1,000.

This scholarship is for undergraduate students. First preference will be given to the dependent children of Christenson Chevrolet employees with a documented financial aid need.
