Advising
Our advising goal is to ensure your academic success as well as establish the path to a rewarding career.

Student Clubs
AeroSolar Engineering Club
The Purdue University Northwest Aerosolar Engineering Club (PNWAEC) is the premiere club on campus for talented engineering students.
ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers)
The ASHRAE Student Chapter (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers) provides access to new technologies; offers professional development opportunities; creates opportunities for networking; and hosts career development programs.
American Society of Civil Engineers
The Purdue University Northwest ASCE student chapter is nationally recognized and aims to provide student members with opportunities to learn, network and compete in regional ASCE student competitions such as the Concrete Canoe and Steel Bridge competitions.
American Society of Mechanical Engineers
The objective of ASME at PNW is to advance and disseminate knowledge of theory and practice of mechanical engineering, the presentation of proper perspective of engineering work and the opportunity to become acquainted with personnel and activities of the Society as well as to promote professional awareness and fellowship.
IEEE (Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers)
The IEEE club provides members with a wide range of information pertaining to the fields of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
IEEE – Eta Kappa Nu (IEEE-HKN)
The honor society of IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) promotes excellence in the profession and in education with ideals of Scholarship, Character and Attitude; and promotes professional accomplishment, service to others, and leadership development for students and professionals in electrical engineering, computer engineering, and other IEEE fields of interest.
National Society of Black Engineers
The mission of Purdue Northwest’s chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers is to increase the number of black engineers who succeed professionally, excel academically and positively impact the community.
PNW Motorsports Formula SAE
Formula SAE revolves around designing, funding, manufacturing and racing a formula style, open-wheel race car. Our organization encompasses engineering, technology, finance, marketing and many more majors.
Purdue NW Baja Racing
Purdue NW Baja Racing is about more than engineering and manufacturing. It’s an adventure for all PNW students. A cross-functional team of students gets together to lead, plan and implement solutions to problems that face the selected project.
SHPE (Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers)
SHPE encourages members to seek leadership opportunities to better prepare themselves for the workplace. To do this, many opportunities are generated within the chapter itself to facilitate the growth of future leaders. PNW SHPE chapter aids in the academic and career development of both Hispanic & non-Hispanic students within STEM fields at Purdue Northwest.
SWE (Society of Women Engineers)
We inform young women, their parents, counselors and the general public about the qualifications and achievements of women in engineering and the opportunities available to them.

- Dimensions: 13-inch Screen
- Ethernet Adapter
- Webcam (either embedded or external)
Software/Tech Notes:
- Computer-Aided Drawing software such as SolidWorks is not supported on Apple products.
- Engineering courses including the first-year math courses utilize graphing calculators. The following calculator options will serve well: TI 83, TI 83 Plus, TI 86, TI 89, or TI-36X Pro.
