ACUE Fostering a Culture of Belonging

PNW is partnering with the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE) to offer a microcredential in Fostering a Culture of Belonging.

Over 80 PNW administrators and leaders from across the university completed the Fostering a Culture of Belonging microcredential in Summer 2023.  Join them in earning this credential to help create a campus culture that promotes the retention and success of PNW students, faculty and staff.

Summer 2024 Cohort: May 20 – July 21 (open to all PNW faculty and staff)

When applying, you will be asked to provide your Name, Role (e.g, Asst. Professor), Department, and your top 3 goals for participating (250 character limit).

*PNW ACUE Teaching Fellows ARE eligible to complete the Fostering a Culture of Belonging microcredential.
*The Fostering a Culture of Belonging microcredential does not count toward the ACUE Certificate in Effective College Instruction.

What to expect:

• Engage in a fully online, asynchronous learning experience with a facilitator and cohort of peers.
• Spend 1-2 hours per week engaging in module content.
• Implement new practices shown to positively impact students and colleagues.
• Participate in virtual discussions with colleagues that expand your thinking and provide opportunities for collaboration.
• Complete reflection assignments based on your use of new practices.
