Strive for excellence. If you allow yourself to aim high, there are a lot of opportunities that will open up for you.
Expand your horizons. Be exploratory with classes, or labs, in subjects you might not be sure about.
The diversity of the student body, the great faculty and the smaller class sizes are a few of the great things about this university. The faculty are more than willing to help you succeed and the smaller class sizes make it much easier to make connections.
The people and professors here are very nice and helpful, and the class sizes give you a more personal connection with your professors.
[The professors] prepared us throughout college and set us up with the tools that we need to succeed. It helped me secure a good job and I thank my professors for that.
The professors are great! They go out of their way to make sure you’re understanding and learning the material. They’re also available to help you when you need it.
Studying at PNW has been a great experience. I have met so many wonderful people and learned so much. I am happy I made the decision to attend PNW.

Virtual Tour
A waterjet, mill and welding system are among the hands-on tools available for students to develop their skills in the PNW Design Studio.
PNW’s Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) won the SHPE Region 6 Chapter of the Year award for 2021-2022!
The new state-of-the-art Nils K. Nelson Bioscience Innovation Building at Hammond provides Biology students with a wide array of spaces to work and collaborate.
Competition teams, like the engineering NASA Rover Team, give students a chance to bring their classroom knowledge to a group setting and collaborate on a project that goes up against schools from across the nation and world.
Students practice dissection to learn about animal anatomy in Introductory Biology lab at Westville.
STEM on the Road is a peer-to-peer outreach event where PNW students share engineering vehicles and research demonstrations with interested high school students.
